With this blog, I intend to share my thoughts, opinions, and experiences as they relate to our ever-changing field. Some will be more 'professional' in nature: reviews of teaching materials, repertoire analysis, newly discovered recordings, etc., while others will be more 'personal': recovering with injury, coping with rejection, performance anxiety, etc. My hope is to share insightful yet unique perspectives each week so that we as a community can grow, reflect, and become better musicians and better people. I encourage an open dialogue - please contact me about any of my posts, whether we agree or not. There is always more to learn and more to experience!
